This group is for everyone in Frankfurt am Main who enjoys thought-provoking, artistic, and non-mainstream cinema.

Do you love independent or international films in their original language (with subtitles)?
Do you prefer cozy, intimate cinemas over noisy multiplexes?
Are you curious about film as an art form – and not just entertainment?

Then this is the right group for you!

Let’s meet to watch great movies together – and, if you like, grab a bite before the screening or chat over drinks afterward. You're always welcome to suggest films or venues.

A FEW SIMPLE RULES:

This group is intentionally kept small and committed – I value quality over quantity.

Organizing these events takes time and effort, so I kindly ask everyone to respect a few basic principles:

• Everyone is responsible for buying their own cinema ticket.
• RSVP only if you genuinely plan to attend.
• Keep your RSVP status up to date – especially if dinner or a table is reserved.
• If you're running late or can't make it, inform the organizer in time.
• At restaurants, everyone pays for their own food and drinks.
• Once you have signed-up for an event - please directly add to your calendar!
• No-shows without notice will be removed/banned from the group. This is a space for reliable, respectful members.
• This is not about numbers – it's about shared passion, trust, and great conversations.

I prefer to spend my time with people who are on time and reliable, rather than managing or “orchestrating” those who are constantly late. I’d rather enjoy the moment than spend it on my phone coordinating latecomers.
